What to Expect on Sunday

Our worship service follows a historic pattern that has fed the Church for centuries. If you've never been to a liturgical service before, you may find it slower and more deliberate than you expected. That is intentional. We believe worship is less a program to be performed and more a meal to be shared — the Lord feeds His people, and we respond in song, prayer, and confession.

A typical Sunday morning runs about seventy-five minutes and includes: a Call to Worship from Scripture; a Confession of Sin spoken together; an Assurance of Pardon drawn from the gospel; Scripture read aloud and preached at length; songs old and new; prayers of intercession for our city and our world; the Lord's Supper (on the weeks it is observed); and a Benediction sent out over the congregation.

You will find no dress code. You will find Bibles in the seats and bulletins at the door. You will find people who are glad you came, and who will not make you explain yourself. Come expecting to be fed.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN? WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN?

We love children in worship. Little ones are welcome in the service from the start — the joyful noise of a gathered congregation includes the noise of its children.

What to Wear

Come as you are. Most folks dress business-casual, but there is no dress code and no expectation. The congregation will be glad you came however you arrive.
